What is HDPE?
HDPE is a member of the polyolefin family of materials, is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material with a continuous temperature range of -50° F (-46° C) to 180° F (82° C). HDPE offers strength and rigidity for a wide variety of applications that require basic engineering plastic performance. It is highly processable and can be worked by cutting, deep drawing, riveting, milling, hot and cold forming, drilling, laser cutting, die cutting, welding, and routing. It offers excellent smoothness and anti-adhesive properties.
